America’s past was brought to life on the Siena College front lawn as the History Club presented “A Day of Living History.” The annual event, now in its fifth year, brings actors and history interpreters from the Capital Region and beyond to campus to share the country’s culture and history.

On April 17 Siena College hosted the Fifth Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium of the Eastern New York Chapter of the American Chemical Society (ACS). This year, 11 Siena students were selected to present their independent research projects conducted with Siena faculty over the past year.

Siena Wins Stock Investment Competition

A team of ten Siena College students with a strong acumen for investing have won a stock portfolio management competition called the Adirondack Cup. Students from 18 colleges and universities from throughout the northeast participated in the unique competition during which they spent the past six months creating and developing hypothetical small cap stock portfolios worth $1 million.

“I participate in Relay so people never have to hear the words, ‘you have cancer’ again,” stated Relay for Life Co-Chairperson Lauren Eversley ’13. The Siena College Relay for Life Gala was a formal affair that carried this hopeful message. It served as a prelude to Siena College’s annual Relay for Life on April 12.
