On April 30, Siena College held its fourth annual First-Year Seminar Student Conference, showcasing the original research of numerous freshman students as they completed their first year as undergraduates.

Last Friday, the Sarazen Student Union was packed with students displaying their research projects from the past academic year. After a national search, Siena College has selected Professor of Management and Executive Director of Siena’s Institute for Leadership Development Charles Seifert, Ph.D. as its new dean of the School of Business.
As the semester drew to a close, students gathered in the front of Siena Hall to watch Revolutionary War marches, hear cannon fire and play various 18th and 19th century games, including cricket.

Since taking over the Siena College Chorus and Chamber Singers, Assistant Professor of Creative Arts (Music) Tim Reno, DMA has helped the program find its voice. Under Reno’s direction, students have a more pronounced presence at campus events and they are performing during Capital Region community and sporting events.
