Honorary Degree Rescinded
The Executive Committee of the Siena College Board of Trustees voted on August 8 to rescind an honorary degree awarded to former Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, former archbishop emeritus of Washington, effective immediately.

SIENA SAYS GOODBYE TO PROFESSOR OF 40 YEARS
Siena professor of 40 years, Paul J. Smith, Ph.D. 80, passed away on Wednesday, July 11. He graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in Albany, received his undergraduate degree from Siena College and his doctorate in organic chemistry from Florida State University.
