Siena Appoints New Chair Of The Board

John F. Murray Jr. ’79 has been confirmed as the new chairman of the Siena College Board of Trustees. Murray was formally elected chair for a two-year term in March, and oversaw his first trustees’ meeting on May 16. He presided at Siena’s commencement ceremony on May 12.

Siena students interested in careers in public policy, global affairs, and government or non-profit management can begin working on a master of public administration (M.P.A.) before the start of their senior year, thanks to a new articulation agreement.

Nate T. Pruitt, Ph.D., is the director of the Counseling Center here and a licensed psychologist. He’s taught several undergrad and graduate courses and has done extensive research on topics like building emotional resilience in college students and the opportunities and challenges of working at a faith-based school.
