Admissions Requirements

The requirements for admission to The Siena MBA are:

• Completed application form
• Official transcripts from all colleges and universities from which you have earned credit. (Official transcripts from Siena College not required)

• One letter of recommendation written by a previous faculty member at your bachelor's degree granting institution or professional reference.
• Personal Statement indicating the reason for pursuing The Siena MBA intended long term career goals.
• Current resume, including employment history certificates or licenses held volunteer/extracurricular activities leadership positions honors/awards
• $50.00 application fee payable online (waived for Siena College undergraduate applicants)
• Official GMAT score results (if applicable - see below)
  • Applicants completing an undergraduate business degree from an AACSB accredited program with: 
    - GPA of 3.0 or better may be admitted to the program without the GMAT. 
    - GPA between 2.75 and 2.99 may be provisionally accepted (must maintain 3.0+ in first three MBA courses) to the program without the GMAT.
    - GPA between 2.50 and 2.74: may earn provisional acceptance (must maintain 3.0+ in first three MBA courses) once they attain a GMAT score of 500 or more.
  • Applicants completing an undergraduate degree from a non-AACSB accredited school and with: 
    - GPA of 3.20 or better may be admitted to the program without the GMAT.
    - GPA between 3.00 and 3.19 may be provisionally accepted (must maintain 3.0+ in first three MBA courses) to the program without the GMAT. 
    -GPA between 2.75 and 2.99 may earn provisional acceptance (must maintain 3.0+ in first three MBA courses) once they attain a GMAT score of 500 or more.
