Instructions

Completed applications for admission to the Master of Business Administration program will be reviewed on a space available basis. Once admitted, you can begin the program in the Fall, Spring, or Summer sessions.

In order for your application to be considered complete, you must submit:
  • Completed application form
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities from which you have earned credit. (Official transcripts from Siena College not required)
  • Official GMAT score results (if required - see requirements below)
  • One letter of recommendation written by a previous faculty member at your bachelor's degree granting institution or professional reference.
  • Brief Personal Statement indicating
    • the reason for pursuing the Siena MBA
    • intended long term career goals
  • Current resume, including
    • employment history
    • certificates or licenses held
    • volunteer/extracurricular activities
    • leadership positions
    • honors/awards
  • $50.00 application fee payable online (waived for applications received prior to August 1 and Siena undergraduate students)

Admission Requirements and the GMAT

- Applicants completing an undergraduate business degree from an AACSB accredited program and earning a GPA of 3.0 or better may be admitted to the program without the GMAT.
- Those applicants with a GPA between 2.75 and 2.99 may be provisionally accepted (must maintain 3.0+ in first three MBA courses) to the program without the GMAT.
- Those applicants with a GPA between 2.50 and 2.74 may earn provisional acceptance (must maintain 3.0+ in first three MBA courses) once they attain a GMAT score of 500 or more.


- Applicants completing an undergraduate degree from a non-AACSB accredited school and earning a GPA of 3.20 or better may be admitted to the program without the GMAT.
- Those applicants with a GPA between 3.00 and 3.19 may be provisionally accepted (must maintain 3.0+ in first three MBA courses) to the program without the GMAT.
- Those applicants with a GPA between 2.75 and 2.99 may earn provisional acceptance (must maintain 3.0+ in first three MBA courses) once they attain a GMAT score of 500 or more.

All applicants:

Please indicate when you have taken or will take the TOEFL.
(Test results cannot be more than two years old)
