Albany County Crime Victim and Sexual Violence Center provides a comprehensive range of services to victims of interpersonal crimes including sexual assault and domestic violence.

St. Peter's Health Partners Crime Victim Services provides victims of sexual assault and other crimes, including domestic/dating violence, harassment and stalking with one-on-one counseling/therapy, medical and legal advocacy and accompaniment, and College Survivor Support Groups. The Program's Forensic Examiner Team also provides medical forensic care to victims/survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and physical assault at all three St. Peter's Emergency Departments (St. Peter's Hospital, Albany Memorial Hospital and Samaritan Hospital). A trained counselor/advocate also accompanies victims to the hospital to provide emotional support.

The mission of the NY State Police Campus Sexual Assault Victims Unit is to reduce the incidence and facilitate the reporting of sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence and stalking on college and university campuses.

The Siena College Department of Public Safety works closely with the Colonie Police Department and other Town emergency services. A written Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) pertaining to the investigation of criminal incidents is in place between the College and the Colonie Police Department. The Investigations Division is responsible for investigating crimes committed within the Town of Colonie.

The Legal Project provides free and confidential civil legal services to victims of campus violence, educating students on their rights and reporting options. The program may also provide attorneys to act as advisors for student complainants in sexual misconduct complaint proceedings.
The Sanctuary for Families Campus Advocates Project provides, among other services, attorney-advisors to students or employees pursuing gender-based or sexual misconduct investigations, including Title IX investigations.
