How do you involve yourself in your community?
I attend several community networking events which come from my involvement in technology and marketing.
Describe a typical day in your life.
Every day I wake up is a bit different so with a cup of Deathwish coffee, I go through emails and messages from the team to gauge the workload for the day. I do anything from website development to managing budgets for paid ads and typically end the day at the gym.
How did your Siena education prepare you for the work you’re doing today?
Working on a startup while at Siena introduced me to a lot of the programs Siena offers. While being involved on campus, studying for exams, and working on side projects was time-consuming and tiring, it has given me the experience needed to work with multiple clients and work hats at once. The ability to juggle multiple projects is crucial at my job and I credit that to all I was involved in while at Siena.
Describe your professional progression since leaving Siena.
Soon after graduating from Siena, I moved to Syracuse to work on my startup company for a few months. After a good ole entrepreneurial fail, I started consulting and working with multiple businesses as a marketing contractor. One day, I approached Troy Web Consulting, who (And I’m guessing the CEO Jon Bricetti '90 being a Saint played a part in it) hired me as a marketing contractor. After a few months, I transitioned into a full-time employee and am now building my own marketing firm as part of Troy Web’s Intrepreneurship program.
