We are so glad that you will be joining us as a residential student! We have seven residential living communities which are the homes of approximately 2,400 students.
Hall Staff
We have a total of 66 Community Assistants (CAs) and six Residence Directors (RDs) living in the halls and available to assist and welcome you to our community.
CAs plan a number of exciting and informative programs each semester. Our goal is help you find your niche at Siena, whether a student club, academic organization, or one of the countless other opportunities that exist at Siena!

BEFORE YOU START YOUR HOUSING APPLICATION
1. Set-up your Siena email account (instructions were sent to your personal email account regarding how to do this). Your Siena College email account is the College's primary means of communicating with you. You'll need to be reviewing your emails regularly to make sure you don't miss important information.
2. Log-in to your Banner Self Service account and create your PIN (instructions were sent to your new Siena email account on how to do this). Banner Self Service is how you will register for classes, housing, change your meal plan, view grades, and complete a lot of other important processes while you are a student at Siena.
3. Set-up your "Emergency Contacts" & "Missing Person" information in Banner Self Service. Our step-by-step guide will help you with this.
Housing Application Information
All new confirmed students (first-year and transfer students) who will be starting at Siena in September 2023 will be able to begin completing the application on or around April 4, 2023. Housing applications must be completed by Friday, June 9, 2023. Students who submit housing applications after this date will be placed on a waitlist for campus housing. Please view our step-by-step video which will help you as you complete your new student housing application.
Please note - new students are added to the housing portal weekly (usually Monday or Tuesday). Please be patient and check back again the following week and your housing portal should be active.
Students under the age of 18: Students who are under the age of 18 at the time of completing the housing application are considered minors, and as such, will need a parent/guardian to complete an electronic verification of the students housing application. After completing your housing application, an automated email will be sent to the email address on file for your parent/guardian, who will need to complete the verification process. Please be sure to inform your parent/guardian once you complete your application so they can complete the verification process. This verification email will come from the email address housing@siena.edu. Be sure to have your parent/guardian check their Spam or Junk folders in case your email provider flags it by accident. If your parent/guardian does not receive the electronic verification email, please send an email to housing@siena.edu and include the name and email address of your parent/guardian and we will work to send a new verification email.
Once you have completed this form, the Office of Community Living will use this information in assigning you to a residence hall room. We will communicate your room assignment and roommate information to you in late July via your Siena email account.
