Excelsior Pass is a free, voluntary and secure way to have digital proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative test results at your fingertips to present when needed. At this time, Passes may only be retrieved for COVID-19 vaccinations or negative test results received in New York State.
Get Started
- Retrieve Excelsior Pass: Go to epass.ny.gov, answer a few quick questions to confirm your identity and obtain a Pass. You will only be able to retrieve a Pass if it's been 15 days or more since you were given the last required shot, you received a negative PCR COVID-19 test within 72 hours, or you received a negative COVID-19 antigen test within 6 hours.
- Excelsior Pass Wallet: Easily add your Pass to the Excelsior Pass Wallet app or your smartphone's native wallet. You can also print out your Pass directly from the website.
- Present Your Excelsior Pass: Present your Pass at a participating venue or business where proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test is required.
