Works from three digital photography students are now on display in Troy, as part of a prestigious art show for college students.

Emily Merritt ’12, Kellie Scullin ’12 and Brittany Danko ’14 had work accepted into the Annual College Student Show taking place at The Photo Center of the Capital District in Troy, New York.

“This photography show is an opportunity for me because I’ve never had my work presented in a professional setting,” Danko said.

The Annual College Student Show is open to all enrolled students in the extended Northeast Region. Juried by noted area photographer David Brickman, the contest features an array of genres.

“It’s a great opportunity to show some of my study abroad photographs,” Scullin explained.

“I am very passionate about photography and I’m glad others can appreciate and experience my photos,” Merritt said.

The exhibit runs through April 15. An awards show and reception will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on March 30 at The Photo Center of the Capital District.
