My Siena Experience
My Teaching Philosophy
My passion for teaching began in my youth; since then, I’ve found that teaching offers great satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment. I view teaching as the process of imparting professional knowledge, eliminating doubts, and inspiring lifelong learning. My method of facilitating student learning can be broken into three main components: (1) sharing my passion, (2) motivating active learning, and (3) encouraging communication. Overall, my teaching provides value for my students and inspires their learning. I believe, as an educator, my responsibility is not only to covey the accounting concepts in the textbook, but also to cultivate students to form the skills and expertise that they can leverage in their future careers.
