My teaching philosophy is to support the development of the whole person through the application of innovative course materials as they relate to the student's professional career goals and aspirations. I believe in fostering creativity and active learning in a way that allows students to apply course materials and concepts that will in turn position them for a competitive advantage in their job search and to excel and prosper throughout their life.

What I Love About Siena
I have worked at Siena in a variety of roles for over the past twenty five years. During this time, what I love most has been interacting and working with our students. It is extremely rewarding to watch a student discover their talents. I have very much enjoyed the opportunities I have had to collaborate and work with exceptional colleagues throughout the campus. I also appreciate the support of the computer science department to try new approaches in the classroom.
My Favorite Courses to Teach
Software Engineering I & II, UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction and Yoga
I also very much enjoy collaborating with students in our summer scholars program and in independent study classes.
