My primary research interests are in reading comprehension and memory. My current research interests focus on: The memory processes involved in the reactivation of prior text as well as general world knowledge; situation models; and factors that improve comprehension and memory of text.
In addition to research I am equality committed to my teaching. I have taught General Psychology, Human Cognition, Statistics for Behavior Sciences, and Research Methods.
The basic foundations in the area of cognitive psychology, my overall program of study, are useful for understanding how we learn. I apply the fundamentals of basic cognitive processes to my teaching and learning practices in the classroom.
