Baccalaureate Social Work (BSW) education equips students with the knowledge, skills, and values for a professional helping career in a variety of roles (case manager, advocate, counselor, community organizer, etc) and in a variety of systems (individual, family and groups, community and policy).

What do social workers do?
Social workers practice with diverse populations in a variety of settings including criminal justice, military, schools, healthcare, substance abuse, children and families, gerontology (aging), homelessness/poverty, and others. Social workers advocate for others and help address social, economic, and environmental injustices.
