The Civitella Entrepreneurial Awards are presented annually to a Siena graduate or trustee and
a non graduate who has excelled as an entrepreneur, positively impacted his or her community, and is driven by the entrepreneurial spirit and values of Siena. The Stack Center bestows this honor at a yearly reception to celebrate their achievements.
In 2014, Siena College awarded the first Entrepreneur of the Year award to Siena alum Antonio Civitella '91, President and CEO of Transfinder. Since then the award ceremony has been held every spring semester, honoring Siena alumni and trustees who have demonstrated success in entrepreneurship and a commitment to the community.
In 2022, the ceremony was renamed the Civitella Entrepreneurial Awards and expanded its focus. We will honor an Alumni/Trustee Entrepreneur(s) of the Year, a Community Impact Entrepreneur(s) (new non-alumni honoree), and a Student Entrepreneur Leader award.
The event will take place on campus.
Date: Tuesday, April 25th
Time: 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
Location: Sarazen Student Union in the Maloney Great Room.
Cocktails and appetizers followed by ceremony and honoree recognition
Dress is business casual.
Our honorees will share their entrepreneurial journeys with attendees, including recorded short videos and live words of inspiration.
All are welcome to attend: Students, alumni, family, friends and members of the wider business community outside of Siena College.
